On March 30, Andy and Alan attended a retreat for authors and researchers at Hiroshima University. The focus of the retreat was on manuscript writing and consisted of 4 mini seminars and 15 30-min individual consultations.
On March 29, Julian and Trevor led a seminar for clinicians at Yokohama City University. A representative from the URA office was present to evaluate the seminar, and gave very positive feedback.
On March 26 and 27, Julian and Trevor led a seminar at Gunma University’s Medical Education Center. This was Julian’s debut as the lead presenter and, judging from the very positive audience feedback, he gave a strong and insightful performance.

On March 16, Trevor and Eri presented seminars at two of Tokushima University’s campuses. The first seminar was for early-career researchers in engineering, and the second was for medical, dental, and pharmacology researchers.
On March 14 & 15, Trevor and Eri led a series of seminars organized by K-CONNEX which is a research consortium consisting of research departments from Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe Universities. Attendees were from engineering and information science fields. The feedback was very positive and the organizer was especially impressed by the hands-on interaction.
