    Dr Dingley’s research areas include antimicrobial proteins, cytokine receptor signaling, development of antimicrobial surface coatings, H-bond cooperativity, protein dynamics, protein–membrane and protein–peptide interactions, and structural biology. He has particular expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology, biophysical methods to analyze protein function and structure, biomolecular NMR spectroscopy, protein biochemistry, protein expression and purification, and protein structure and function. Dr Dingley has published more than 40 articles in international high-impact journals, in addition to a number of scientific book chapters. He is on the editorial advisory board for the Biochemical Journal (UK), is a member of the Biochemical Society (UK) and a long serving member of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Magnetic Resonance, and is a reviewer of ANSTO Bragg Institute neutron beam instrument proposals, SANS (QUOKKA) and neutron reflectometry (PLATYPUS). Currently employed as a group leader at the Institute of Complex Systems 6 in Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany, Dr Dingley joined Edanz Group as an editor in 2008.
